Jarvanna’s story ->Jan 28, 2018

It’s finally time to tell the story of Jarvanna. When I did the character stories last time, Jarvanna didn’t get one, as there wasn’t that much to tell. Instead I posted this blog about her. Now, almost 5 years later, Jarvanna’s story isn’t really that long, and yet, it’s been 5 years.

In July 2012, my sister decided to start playing DDO. Since I didn’t have a char at the right level, and since the druid class had been released only a short while earlier, I decided to make a druid. The very first post I found mentioning Jarvanna, was this one: While everyone’s off in King’s Forest…

Here are the blogs from Jarvanna’s early days:

When I made Jarvanna, my sis was playing a fighter, later she decided to also make a druid. We were levelling slow, as we only played about once a week. It took us about a year and a half to hit heroic cap on our first lives.

After I moved from Finland to Sweden, our weekly runs turned into less often. In 2015 Valdayanie joined our group and we slowly made our way not only to heroic cap but epic as well. Once epic, I decided that I wanted us to finish all our EDs before the next reincarnation. This means that we are still on our second lives. We have run more often than I’ve blogged about it, though.

What are the future plans of Jarvanna? After Jaravanna’s first life as a melee caster, I decided I wanted to do two more lives as a druid on her, a melee and a caster. As a melee a she’s been doing really well, especially since getting some points in her EDs, but I’m unsure if she’ll contribute enough to the group as a caster. Right now I’m considering turning her into a paladin for her third life. First we will continue working on our EDs and hopefully finish them all before we reincarnate. Since we are non iconic characters at epic cap, the plan is to do a double reincarnation, first epic and then heroic. What the actual future holds for Jaravanna is yet to be known.
