As I was xping one of my characters the other week, Short told told me to dual box for TP. I didn’t that tine, but as I TR’d Firetha, it hit me that I could create a leveling buddy for her on one of my alt-accounts.. earn some TP for that account and make leveling the wizard easier. So, I made “Smashbaby Trapfinder”, a barbarian. 🙂 So far I’ve been enjoying this character a lot.
That’s all folks.
Thank you for stopping by.
The last TR I did on Firetha happened October 6, 2015. It took me over a year to get her to 20, mainly because I don’t really like running heroics, especially not the low level ones, and I would only play her when I only had time for one quest or so.
She finally hit 20 two days ago and yesterday I spent my game time cleaning her TR bank. Today I TR’d. I will be doing exactly the same build as last time, for her 3rd wizard past life. Here are her before and after pictures:

I’ve never been a lich before. 🙂
Last night I was thinking I would just eTR Firetha (so I would remember to do it before TR) and then run some quests on Thaz. But as I was done with the eTR I said to myself “meh, I’ll just TR now”… I went to the reincarnation grove, did the procedure, logged out to get my screenshot, restarted client… and huh? I did not have a button for reincarnate. I logged back in again and tried again, and I had to look at it twice before I realised where I had gone wrong. TR cache! I’ve been mainly eTR’ing of late and didn’t remember that doing a TR means you have to empty it, lol. So I spent my time doing that before finally getting to do my TR. Here are Firetha’s before and after. And as always, the creation cave does not give you the real colors. He hair was supposed to be light blue.. but now it’s only gray. Oh, and the before screenshot is from the last TR. I forgot to screenshot her before this TR.

That is all I have for you today. Cheers
I finally got around to doing 20 doj runs on Firetha and planning a TR build for her. My idea is to do 2x wizard lives just 1-20 on her. As I will play my other toons as well, I don’t know how fast I will be able to TR, but this will be my first time actually meaning to do just 1-20 leveling. Only time I’ve previously TRd at 20 was when cap was still 20. I did one TR on Maidae back then.
Here is the draft for my wizard life/ lives

If you remember my toon Firetha that I transferred to Orien from Cannith… I made a preliminary build plan for her next life. She didn’t have her EDs done, or almost any xp in ED’s at all, I was running her during mine and Osi’s raid night on Saturdays. I managed to cap all her EDs some weeks ago, and now I’m finally starting to prep for TR… by working on getting her 20th raids done. So far she’s done 60 MoDs and 20 FoTs… I’m missing 2 CitW and 4 VoN.. then I can TR.
This week I’ve been mainly running CitW.. or I did a couple of runs on Sunday too, to a total of 6 runs in 3 days. As this raid can be a bit trickier to fill than some of the other raids, I’ve just been doing normal, as I feel comfortable running it really short man on EE… as a matter of fact, we started 3 man in a few of those runs, I started solo once. In general the runs have been good, but it of course takes longer the few’er you are, so some of those have taken a bit longer. In general the runs have been 30-50 min… which isn’t particularly fast, seeing as a good eH run can take 40.
Anyway, here are the quest reports I have saved:
That is all folks. I don’t have much more for you today.
I didn’t run the U24 (see U24 release notes here) quests on the day of release, mostly because I just didn’t have a toon at the right level that I wanted to run, and I wanted to focus on the stuff I was doing. After I finished flagging for Shroud on Maidae on Sunday, I suggested to the group that we run the new chain, heroic elite (me and 2 other lvl 18’s). A wizard joined us on the lfm. I don’t think any of us knew the quests, or what to expect. We started with Palace of Stone.
Of the chain, this quest wasn’t that bad. We died some in the traps, we died some from some rocks, but we got through it. The DM was pretty annoying, though, and I might turn off the DM sound if I run this quest a lot.
I have written many blogs about raid night.. and here it is again. Osi doesn’t play ddo a whole lot anymore, he still manages out guild ship mostly, so he might log to put stuff on shard ah, check his mail and buy buffs for the guild. And then he logs to raid with me on Saturday night.
This Saturday I went for a swim at the local pool, cleaned at home and took care of the degus… then I poured myself a glass of wine and watched some TV, before logging on to raid with Osi. I’m again trying to give up coffee, so having not slept enough, add wine, and I was starting to feel tired after a few raids.
Lately I let Osi decide what raids we run, he usually checks the lfm that we’re not lfm’ing for the same as someone else. He told me to post for VoN.
Each time there is a new update with a new raid, I tend to wait for ppl to learn it, and then join someone with knowledge so they can teach me. I then try to join different groups to see what different tactics the different groups use… I usually select my own tactics based on what I’ve learned for when I post the raid myself. When it comes to The Mark of Death, I haven’t needed to post for the raid at all, in fact my toons keep getting ransacked, and I don’t have a toon to run that isn’t, lol. Most of the runs I’ve done I’ve done with Adenai, I did some with Cleazy and some with Matrix. Key has been doing MoD marathons a few times a week, and I’ve enjoyed them them most. The runs have been somewhat efficiently run, even though almost pure pug runs, but still quite relaxed. Conversations have been light and friendly. 🙂
So, I looked for some screenies from the runs, just for some documentation on the groups.
