Raids week 175

Raids 175 were Tuesday May 19, Wednesday May 20 and Saturday May 23.

Tuesday

1. Project Nemesis LN – practice run

Each time I post for the practice run, I do get some ppl who knows the raid well and are only there for completion. These ppl get to be helpers and aid the ppl who are learning new roles. I try to assign ppl to roles they haven’t done before, and laser person gets to try it for the first time. Completion time in these runs is less important. Loot: 64 nemesis runes, 25 threads of fate, The Family’s Blessing and Cracked Core.

Wednesday

1. Project Nemesis LH

I’ve been filling the Wednesday runs from eeraids channel, and did so this time as well. We had Dan, Acmo, Piano and I think Yshar on bosses, Torimi on laser. Completion time: 15 min, 53 s. Loot: 84 nemesis runes, 30 threads of fate, Stickerclick, the Bitter Hail of Bolts and Band of Diani ir’Wynarn.

2. Too Hot to Handle LN

Lag wasn’t too bad so we continued with thth. Dan was tanking again. Completion time: 13 min, 38 s. Loot: 64 forge runes, 25 threads of fate.

3. Killing Time LH

It’s become a routine to run KT after PN and thth. Dan was tanking. Myiornis was shadow kiter. Completion time: 30 min 19 s. Loot: 84 time runes, 24 threads of fate, Mail of the Mroranon, Trinket of Freewill, Brilliant Crescent and 3 schisms.

4. Too Hot to Handle LN

Someone asked for another thth and I was ok with that. Dan was still tanking. We ended up waiting inside for someone who was running through wilderness (which of course meant they weren’t flagged, which none of us remembered) and then had to switch toon. Completion time: 20 min, 0 s. Loot: 64 forge runes, 25 threads of fate, Ir’Kesslan’s Most Prescient Lens.

5. Project Nemesis LH

I felt I had time and energy for one more raid, so we decided to do another PN. Completion time: 17 min, 51 s. Loot: 84 nemesis runes, 30 threads of fate, The Zarash’ak Ward, Key of Rhukaan Draal and Stickerclick, the Bitter Hail of Bolts.

Saturday

1. Project Nemesis LH

For Saturday raids I decided that we should try running some raids on a higher difficulty. Without a dedicated tank, though, elite PN turned out to be too hard and after two fails we went back to hard. The hard run was quick and smooth, with out fastest completion time to date: 12 min, 43 s. Loot: 84 nemesis runes, 30 threads of fate, The Fractured Elegance, Ethereal Gaze, and Helm of the Final Watcher.

2. Too Hot to Handle LN

Continuing with the ‘higher difficulty’ thing, we stepped into THTH on hard. Things were going well for a while, but then we lost control of the trash and wiped. I didn’t want to try again, so we stepped in on normal for the second attempt. Completion time: 20 min, 23 s (again with some waiting at the start). Loot: 64 forge runes, 25 threads of fate, Sigil of the Triumvirate, The Broken Blade of Constellation and Untold, Crack in the Sky.

3. Killing Time LH

Continuing yet again with the higher diff thing, we stepped into KT on elite. Things were going ok until the second rift where things fell apart. I left Piano and Dan with the dragon while I followed into the rift to heal the party. I ended up kiting the boss until I died, and even though the party managed to separate the boss from the shadows, without heals the fight proved too hard and we wiped. We went back in on hard. Completion time: 26 min, 34 s. Loot: 84 time runes, 24 threads of fate, Clouded Dreams, Cloak of the Mountain, Bracers of the Mountain and at least one schism.

4. Too Hot to Handle LN

The group wanted another thth, so we continued with it. Completion time: 14 min, 41 s. Loot: 64 forge runes, 25 threads of fate, Constellation, Cursed Blade, The Shattered Hilt of Constellation and Fetters of the Forgewraith.

5. Project Nemesis LH

For the last raid of the night, we deiced to do another PN. This run was a bit harder than the previous one, but we completed. Completion time: 34 min, 30 s. Loot: 84 nemesis runes, 30 threads of fate, a +7 cha tome, The Wide Open Sky and Attunement’s Gaze.
