Raids week 215

Raids 215 were Wednesday February 24, Thursday February 25 and Saturday February 27. The new raid in Feywild, The Dryad and the Demigod was released in update 48.4 on February 24. Amored unicorns and Feytwisted items were added to the loot list the week after on Thursday March 4 with update 48.4.1. This was not mentioned in the release notes, but quickly noticed by players.

Wednesday

1. The Dryad and the Demigod LN

The Feywild raid was out with the update just a few hours earlier and we were eager to try it. In our first attempt we didn’t quite understand the mechanics and failed because the corruption on the dryad reached 100%. We went back in with a bit of tactics and completed in the second try. Completing all the optionals gives a second chest. Loot: 64 demigod runes x2, 25 threads of fate x2, Bottled Rainstorm and The Magmatic Reaver.

2. Legendary Vision of Destruction LH

We decided to take a break from the Feywild raid to wait for Leo who was planning to join us a little later. So we did a quick run of LVOD. Completion time: 12 min, 30 s. Loot: 84 vision runes, 25 threads of fate, Blightstaff, Legendary Tumbleweed and Spark of Dream.

3. The Dryad and the Demigod LN

When Leo logged we stepped back into the Dryad raid. The run was a bit laggy and when the bear spawned he roared after the group had already beaten him and the party wiped. We stepped back in right away and completed. Completion time: 15 min, 26 s. Loot: 64 demigod runes x2, 25 threads of fate x2, Rune Lodestone.

Thursday

1. The Dryad and the Demigod LN

Since Amalf was unable to make it to the Wednesday raids, I logged in on Thursday to do another run of the Feywild raid. Completion time: 23 min, 26 s. Loot: 64 demigod runes x2, 25 threads of fate x2, Dismagicka and Salazar, Borne of Hemlock.

Saturday

1. The Dryad and the Demigod LH

Saturday we stepped it up and decided to try elite. We didn’t quite know what to expect and wiped early on. We stepped back in on hard and completed. Completion time: 28 min, 6 s. Loot: 84 demigod runes x2, 30 threads of fate x2, Valorius, the Flameblade, Aerania, the Boltbow and Icon of the Bitterwind.

2. Legendary Vision of Destruction LH

We decided to do some other raids before going back to Feywild. I lfm’d for the free spots and we filled. Completion time: 13 min, 41 s. Loot: 84 vision runes, 25 threads of fate, Lamplighter.

3. Legendary Lord of Blades LH

We continued with LLOB. Completion time: 16 min, 3 s. Loot: 84 blades runes x2, 25 threads of fate x2, Legendary Magewright’s Cloak and Quori-Infused Core.

4. Legendary Master Artificer LH

I switched to Maidae for LMA. Completion time: 16 min, 27 s. Loot: artificer runes x2, 30 threads of fate x2, Legendary Alchemical Kama, Titan Control Matrix, Legendary Alchemical Dagger, Legendary Alchemical Sickle.

5. Project Nemesis LH

I posted for the free spots for PN and we stepped in on hard. Completion time: 14 min, 8 s. Loot: 84 nemesis runes, 30 threads of fate, Key of Rhukaan Draal, Stickerclick, the Bitter Hail of Bolts, Attunement’s Gaze and at least one Spark of Dream.

6. Too Hot to Handle LN

I posted for thth, we filled and ran without a sunburster. Completion time: 10 min, 37 s. Loot: 64 forge runes, 25 threads of fate.

7. The Dryad and the Demigod LH

After thth we went back to Feywild for another run. Completion time: 21 min, 17 s. Loot: 84 demigod runes x2, 30 threads of fate x2, Icon of the Bitterwind x2, Emerald of Bitter Wounds, Staff of the Summer Solstice, Aspect of the Wild Hunt and The Changestone.

8. Killing Time LH

Next I posted for KT. Completion time: 23 min, 27 s. Loot: 84 time runes, 24 threads of fate and Gauntlets of the Stormreaver.

9. The Mark of Death R1

I posted and we filled. Completion time: 13 min, 4 s. Loot: 125 death runes, 13 threads of fate, Epic Quiver of Alacrity and Sanctified Gages.

10. The Dryad and the Demigod LN

For the last raid of the night we decided to go back to Feywild. The only epic toon I had left that wasn’t on timer was Cerge, and I think we had someone else who was also lower level so we decided to do normal. Loot: 64 demigod runes x2, 25 threads of fate x2, Salazar, Borne of Hemlock and Driftwood.
