Raids week 197

Raids 197 were Wednesday October 21 and Saturday October 24.

Wednesday

1. Legendary Vision of Destruction LH

We started Wednesday raids with LVOD and this time we ran without a dedicated tank. Run was a bit hard with some deaths, but we completed. Completion time: 13 min, 8 s. Loot: 84 vision runes, 25 threads of fate, a +2 tome of fate, Dull Dagger, Champion of the Twins, Legendary Ring of Thelis and a Spark of Dream (at least one).

2. Legendary Master Artificer LH

Next we continued with no tank MA. Some deaths, but the raid is fine without a tank. You do need some ranged dps to be able to kill Toven, though. Completion time: 16 min, 58 s. Loot: 84 artificer runes x2, 30 threads of fate x2 (2 chests if you do optional and both give the same amount of runes and threads), Legendary Fabricator’s Gauntlents, and at least one Spark of Dream (they don’t show up in chat if someone looted one and has auto gather checked on their bags).

3. Legendary Lord of Blades LH

I wanted to try elite, since we had by this time completed both LVOD and LMA on elite. It took us less than 15 min to wipe, and we decided to not try again – we felt we needed two tanks for elite, not just one. Instead we switched to hard. Check out the recording below. Loot: 84 blade runes x2, 25 threads of fate x2, Bound Elemental Ring of Flames, Legendary Lucid Dreams, Legendary Alchemical Buckler, Legendary Elemental Ring of Flame, Legendary Tinkerer’s Gloves, Legendary Alchemical Large Shield and at least one Spark of Dream.

4. Too Hot to Handle LN

I chose thth as the next raid, which made some party members switch character. We had a free spot, so I brought in Darthpyre as a piker – he is looking for the tank helm. Completion time: 9 min, 59 s. Loot: 64 forge runes, 25 threads of fate, The Cornerstone Champion and at least one Spark of Dream.

5. Project Nemesis LH

For the last raid of the night we ran PN. We had an odd effect where Gish didn’t disappear after his element was absorbed, so when we had killed Gish in the end fight, we had two Gishs sitting near each other. Completion time: 17 min, 15s. Loot: 84 nemesis runes, 30 threads of fate, Attunement’s Gaze and Key of Rhukaan Draal.

Saturday

1. Legendary Vision of Destruction LH

Saturday we started with LVOD again and this time we ran hard without a designated tank. We did have cc for devils, though, which helped. Completion time: 14 min, 11 s. Loot: 84 vision runes, 25 threads of fate, Legendary Levik’s Bracers, Legendary Tharne’s Goggles, Handwraps of the Hound and at least one Spark of Dream.

2. Legendary Master Artificer LH

We continued with a no tank hard LMA. The purple titan is a bit difficult without a tank, but it all worked out. Completion time: 18 min, 8 s. Loot: 84 artificer runes x2, 30 threads of fate x2, Legendary Alchemical Kama.

3. Legendary Lord of Blades LH

Osi brought his tank for LLOB, but we stuck to hard. For LLOB you do want to have a tank to prevent LOB from killing everyone. Also here, the optional gives an extra chest with runes and threads. Completion time: 15 min, 41 s. Loot: 84 blade runes x2, 25 threads of fate x2 and 3x Spark of Dream.

4. Project Nemesis LE

Next we decided to run elite PN with Osi as the only tank. Have a look at the video below. Completion time: 34 min, 25 s. Loot: 125 nemesis runes, 35 threads of fate, Key of Rhukaan Draal, a +7 to +8 dex tome, a Spark of Dream, Baz’Morath, the Curator of Decay, Helm of the Final Watcher and The Wide Open Sky.

5. Too Hot to Handle LN

I stayed on Maidae for thth, Osi brought his sunburster and I think Diestrich was sunburst and disco. Aki was tanking. Completion time: 11 min, 36 s. Loot: 64 forge runes, 25 threads of fate and The Everstorm, Maelstrom Courser.

6. Legendary Vision of Destruction LH

After the sharn raids, we went back for another run of the U47 raids. I decided to stay on Maidae. Osi decided not to come, and Carlinee tanked. Completion time was about 14 min. Loot: 84 vision runes, 25 threads of fate and 2x Spark of Dream.

7. Legendary Master Artificer LH

In MA, I think I tried to stand close to Mk III so I could help dps him, as we had more dps on Mk II (Mk III has an aura and shield preventing ranged attacks and magic. Ranged attacks do seem to work in melee range, though. Completion time: 18 min, 0 s. Loot: 84 artificer runes x2, 30 threads x2, Legendary Alchemical Khopesh, Legendary Magewritht’s Spectacles and at least one Spark of Dream.

8. Legendary Lord of Blades LH

We decided to go into LLOB with mostly the same team and toons, realizing as we were attempting the optional of marking the Lord of Blades three times, that this was going to be too hard without a healer. We wiped, jibbered and skipped the optional just to complete. Completion time: 20 min, 49 s. Loot: 84 blades runes, 25 threads of fate, Legendary Lucid Dreams x2, Legendary Alchemical Shortsword and at least one Spark of Dream.

9. Killing Time LH

For the last raid of the night we decided to do a run of KT. I brought Jarvanna for heals. Osi and some of the Greeks decided to come along. The run was quick and easy. Completion time: 19 min, 13 s. Loot: 84 time runes, 24 threads of fate, Trinket of Freewill and at least one shard.
