Raids 135 were Wednesday August 7 and Saturday August 10. Here are the highlights.
1. Project Nemesis LN
Osi was our main tank and we didn’t really have second tank. We also had some first timers. I wanted to practice doing the laser, and messed up more than once. Completion time: 24 min, 21 s. Loot: 64 Nemesis runes, 25 threads of fate and Band of Diani ir’Wynarn.
2. Too Hot to Handle LN
We lost a few ppl after PN, so I put an lfm up. After waiting a while we decided to short man – Osi brought in a piker. The piker was having issues zoning in and we ended up waiting several minutes more. The run was mostly easy with me, Lubash and Favoritesoul on forgewraiths and runners. Carlinee was tanking. Completion time: 20 min, 47 s. Loot: 64 forge runes, 25 threads of fate, Hoarfrost, Herald of the Bitter Ice and Silver Dragonscale Capelet.
3. Project Nemesis LN
I wanted to run this raid again, and some of the others wanted to as well. Osi’s alt was replaced by Alane and Epicsoul did the laser. Completion time: 17 min, 44 seconds. Loot: 64 nemesis runes, 25 threads of fate, and no named item what I could see.
1. Project Nemesis LH
I was talking with Osi about wanting to do LH, and he suggested PN rather than THTH. He stepped in on hard while we were still filling, and waited about 10 min before we had a full party inside the raid. I didn’t know how difficult the run would be or that we might have needed a second tank. In the first few minutes of the raid we had a lot of deaths and I really didn’t think we’d be able to do it. Soon after we got things organised and once the minotaur was taken care of, things started to look up. We completed in 50 min, 3s. Loot: 84 nemesis runes, 30 threads of fate, Helm of the Final Watcher, Ethereal Gaze, The Wide Open Sky and Gauntlet of the Iron Council.
2. Too Hot to Handle LN
We were talking about possibly doing hard, but about half the party wanted normal, so I decided to stick to normal. Carlinee was tanking again, Lubash, Quilo, Leo and I on wraiths and runners. Completion time: 14 min, 31 s. Loot: 64 forge runes, 25 threads of fate and The Broken Blade of Constellation.
3. Killing Time LH
I’ve been interested in finding out if the shadows actually do the same amount of damage on every difficulty, but Osi said we need a LoB tank if we want to do elite. So we stuck to hard again. Osi dragon tank Tahlua Nyt Tank, Lubash kiter and in LoB room I suggested Tahlua kites dogs and Torimi tanks LoB. Completion time: 34 min, 3s. Loot: 84 time runes, 24 threads of fate, The Staff of Shadow, a +4 int tome, Nightshard and 3 schisms.
4. Riding the Storm Out R2
Someone suggested RSO and I said sure, R1. Osi wanted to try R2, I agreed. We’ve done a few successful R1s and I haven’t really thought they were that much more difficult than elite. R2 wasn’t that bad either – until I ran into a caster that kept hitting me with lightning over and over. After this happened twice, I forgot to check my storm magic stacks twice and died. End fight went quite well, tough (in my opinion). Completion time: 56 min, 51 s (which is faster than some of our LHs a few years ago). Loot: 125 kor kaza runes, 25 threads of fate, a +7 charisma tome, Bluescale Guides and Guided Sight x2.
4. The Mark of Death R1
Thazara’s second ring slot doesn’t currently contain anything that gives me enough of a bonus – Osi suggested the mod ring for more hp. I figured it wasn’t a bad idea and wanted to try and get it. I wanted to do do this raid R1 – but was willing to drop do elite, since we didn’t have a full party. Osi stepped in on R1. I didn’t assign sides, which then meant no one went west, lol. I, Upload and Torimi were east, so we broke the sarc to go west. Completion time: 26 min, 55 s. Loot: 125 death runes, 13 threads of fate, Epic Quiver of Alacrity, Knives Eternal and Epic Noxious Embers.
After MoD I was done for the night.
That’s all for raids 135.
Thank you for stopping by.
