About my solo raider; Maidae life 6

I was asked about my build and my gear setup for the character I’ve been running solo raids on. The build plan up to lvl 28 (cap when the plan was made) can be found here: Maidae 6.0, for feats at level 29 and 30 I took Deific Warding, Shot on the run and Scion of Arborea.

Here are my current enhancements:

My current gear list:
Goggles: Visions of Precision
Head: Mythic Emerald Gaze; augments; Topaz of Power +250, Topaz of Blindness Immunity
Neck: Shroud of Ardent
Trinket: Epic Litany of the Dead
Armor: Outfit of the Celestial Avenger, Mythic Armor Boost +4
Cloak: Greensteel (heroic); Concordant Opposition, +45 hp
Bracers: Dumathoin’s Bracers
Belt: Epic Belt of Thoughtful Rememberance; augments; Sapphire of False life +35, Diamond of Insightful Con +2
Ring 1: Strange Tidings, Mythic Ring Boost +3
Ring 2: Circle of Malevolence
Boots: Boots of Blessed Travels
Gloves: Sanctified Gages
Weapon: Complete Thunder-forged Longbow; 1st Degree Burns, Dragon’s Edge, Mortal Fear

Note; my gear setup isn’t optimised. I am sure I could improve my character by switching some things out. The items I really like, that I do recommend getting are the armor and the boots. The rest may be available on random loot. The only new thing my character has gotten the last year or so is the armor. The bow I made before mortal fear was made to not work in legendary content. It still works great in other epics, though.

I am running my character in Fury ED, but Legendary Dreadnought might work just as well.

That’s all I can think of for now, any questions?

Regards, Micki/ Thaz

Solo raids; Shroud

It’s been some time since the last video, and now I’ve finally made another one. This time I decided to give Shroud a go. Soloing Shroud isn’t really anything special, and has been done many times before.. but soloing is still different than running with a group. It’s been a while since I’ve done a shroud, so I wasn’t sure I would remember every part fully, but things went pretty well.

In part 1 I forgot the order we do the portals in on Orien.. well at first, before I remembered it again. Portals were easy and somewhat fast.

In part 2 I got a bit unlucky with the reds, I got both fire elemental and cat.. which are the most difficult ones due to their speed. I struggled a bit in p2, but eventually got it done.

Part 3 I tried to hurry by shooting the crystals over the puzzles and running water. The rainbow spawned when I had 3 waters let to do, so had to mind it, but things went well.

Part 4 took me two rounds, probably because I didn’t wait for manyshot to be off timer before killing off the last of the trash.

Part 5 was quite easy, even though the blades spawned after a while. Harry moved me a few times, but that was about it.

Cerge continues to solo

Due to my lack of time lately, I haven’t been putting up lfms as I used to, but have mainly been soloing. This because I would only run one quest per night, and I didn’t want to lfm for just one quest. I did, though, put up an lfm for Lords of dust chain last friday, and had some good runs. I also joined an lfm for EE Chrono before running the Eveningstar quests. Anyway, back to the solos. On Thursday I finished the house D chain EE solo and today I finished the first Eveningstar chain. I was complaining to Short about how crappy my character has been feeling, and he gave me some pointers as how to improve. With some changes, I feel that the quests were going better… but the champs were still killing me. Have a look at screenies below.
