I have yet to make a GS item for Thazara, and almost everyone I’ve spoken to has told me to make Concordant opposition goggles. I said, no, I do not want to make goggles, since I still melee and use the haste clicky on the time-sensing goggles all the time (and I would love the epic version). But… alright, alright. I give up. The rebel in me has decided to admit defeat and make the darn goggles. 🙂 Since the goggles spot is the best one for a GS item, I can live without the haste clicky (or just swap when I need it).
So, tonight I’m finally making my first gs blank (if I have the mats, but I believe I do), lol. I’ve been putting it off for months 🙂 Need to run shroud too.

NIce, yes these goggles are very nice to have, as of the haste clicky, you can always simply buy 100 haste potions in house K and use these to haste yourself.. more uses than just 3 per rest too *grins*.
🙂 Ah, but what’s so nice about the clicky is that it’s mass, so when I (in epics), jump in with the melees, I can haste everyone, and as a result reduce the damage I myself might take from meleing. It takes Thaz way too long to take out a foe solo, so I usually try to (if meleing) get in the middle of a group of melees, so I can keep them healed with aura and deal a little bit of damage at the same time (and the crystal cove buckler tends to make foes daze, which is nice).
When soloing Beyond the rift epic normal, I was mostly running through blade barrier, and dp’ing some. 🙂 Cleric’s don’t really have any good AOE spells, except BB (well comet fall too, but come fall’s expensive and doesn’t last like the BB, or e.g. firewall). Well implosion of course, must not forget that one, but the cool down on it’s a pain.
If you make your goggles HP instead of SP, you can switch them off and on at-will and not lose anything, since one or two ticks of your aura will restore the HP when you put them back on.
Gloves also aren’t a bad GS slot – my pure has Conc Opp/SP on his gloves, so after buffs he can usually swap them with something else if needed, especially in a group (Conc Opp/Torc procs much less often when he’s in a party than when he’s soloing)
🙂 Good idea, except for the fact that since the epic destinies I get Thaz up over 500hp with buffs, while she’s at max 1803 sp (with buffs and archmagi). I badly need more sp.
In the gloves spot I have the Fabricator’s Gauntlets. I could make a GS cloak, though, if I get cha on another item. I also need something else with archmagi, so I can wear minos all the time. A trinket wouldn’t be half bad.

My first was not too long ago on my bard, a greataxe not finished tier 3 yet because im busy with my acrobat.
I have a gs belt with no work on it, was gonna put hp on it but read that there are some nice belts, i think u should look at your gear and choose the slot where your weakest, like my rogue hasent had a decent cloak all his life so i may make one when i get the shards

I still think you should make a GS item with a haste clicky – only get two shots, but they’ll last a lot longer. If your cloak is less than wonderful feel free to make a ConcOp cloak instead of goggles…. unless you’re looking to pick something more useful up.
🙂 Well the only item I use atm that would not make me lose anything important, are the goggles. She’s wearing the magewright’s cloak, and if I were to get +6 cha on something else, I could lose the cloak. But the festival cloak (cloak of night)’s suppose to be really good as well.
What haste clicky gs do u suggest?
I have a couple pairs of GS haste clicky boots, but I use them sporadically. I tend to use haste pots instead. I don’t wear the GS haste clicky boots. I just switch gear when I need to haste, then wear my boots of corrosion/firestorm greaves/rock boots/kundarak delving/gyroscopic whatever the rest of the time. I don’t even remember what I used for the other bonuses on the green steel boots clicky, but they’re only tier 2, so not the most expensive bit of cheese. Sometimes I wonder if they were really worth the bank slot, though. 🙂 I definitely used them more when my toons were younger and I had less cash for buying pots.
Belt slot is something that my healers regularly use clickies on, too, between planar gird and the ToD ardor VIII items. I usually have something that boosts HP and con worn most of the time at the belt, but I’m always switching out temporarily when I need to rebuff.
So keep in mind that most slots you can briefly switch out for the sake of buffs. It’s just the ones you are deriving bonus SP from that really need to be static the entire quest.

@Finch, 🙂 since I started playing my sorcerer more, I tend to forget my haste clicky on Thazara and Maidae. And I do mostly group with others, so usually there’s someone that can cast extended haste.

And omg superior lore 12%? Ah, but I want arcane lore, not healing lore. As in, I want a lore that affect all spells, not just healing spells.

An easy source of arcane lore is to upgrade a taint of madness armour .. its only the 6% version tho
🙂 Thaz has the blue dragonscale robe which has greater arcane lore 9%. 12% would be pretty cool, though.
